The Turkish word for love is, appropriately, aşk. And if you ask the amazingly talented Nisanoğlu sisters to describe their fashion line, Resimé Couture, and Isabelle Fabrics you’d learn that it is a labor not only of passion but of family and ultimately love — or aşk. Fashion runs in their blood, shapes their lives, and informs their every decision, every day. 

Started by their mother, Resimé Nisanoğlu, in the 1950s in Adana, Turkey, the sisters took over the fashion house in 2016 after their mother’s passing. As a full-service fashion atelier, the sisters bring their own creative expertise, business savvy, and inspirations from an eclectic mix of Eastern and Western influences and old-world European craftsmanship blended with modern, timeless elegance.
